The evening's entertainment featured a mix of road-warrior inspired fun with fire juggler Josh Routh, temporary tattoo artist from Personality Portraits, studio booth operated by GoodEye Photoshare, the artistic talents of Jen Hayes and finally party performers Lenny Klinger's Galaxy Band. On Thursday, December 9, 2010, Places for People's Executive Director Francie Broderick and State Treasurer Clint Zweifel "broke ground" on Places at Page. A ceremonial wall demolition celebrated the start of the project, which will result in 23 apartments with on-site support for people with serious mental illness.
In September 2010, Places for People's 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised over $56,000 to support core mental health services!
Over 120 golfers enjoyed picture-perfect weather and the beautiful course at the Missouri Bluffs Golf Club. PfP is very grateful to everyone who made the day such a wonderful success: our sponsors, players, committee members, volunteers, and the staff at Missouri Bluffs.

In June 2010, 135 people came out to celebrate at the Jewel Box in Forest Park for Blue Moon June, which raised nearly $24,000 for Community Alternatives. The evening honored the Board of Directors from 2004 responsible for moving CA from a profit to a nonprofit entity. Mina Overton was recognized as "Board Member of the Year," and Dr. Bob Caslyn received a special award for his contribution to research.
