Places for People (PfP) is a private, non-profit agency that has been helping people with serious mental illness live independently in the community for more than 35 years.

Offers support and services to more than 480 people living with serious and persistent mental illness.
Serves people living with severe psychiatric disorders – individuals who need more intensive and flexible services than other providers can give.
Empowers individuals to regain control of their lives by building relationships and encouraging community involvement.
Provides outreach and housing to homeless individuals living with mental illness.
Provides an array of housing options for people living with mental illness, co-occurring addiction disorders and HIV/AIDS.
Over 80% of our clients live in independent housing of their choice – the highest rate for any provider in the state.
