Leon's Story

Leon was homeless, living with an untreated mental illness before he met a social worker from Places for People's Tikkun team. His team helped him find housing, manage his medication and better understand his mental illness. Now Leon explains he's an example that recovery works.

"I'm an example for a lot of people I didn't really even know. If you knew me 13 years ago you wouldn't know I'm the same person, you just wouldn't know I'm the same person."
