Yes. More and more people are choosing alternative gift options for birthdays, holidays, memorials and many other occasions. Click here to make an honor or memorial gift. Fill in the blank space with the names and addresses of who you would like to receive an honor acknowledgment. Or, if you are making a gift in memory of a loved one, please provide the name and address of who the card should be sent to, who the gift is in memory of, and who made the gift.
First, contact your human resources department to find out whether your company has a matching gift policy. If it does, your employer will supply you with a form for you to fill out and send to us with your donation. We will verify your gift either online or by mail. Then a matching gift contribution will be sent to Places for People.
Once we confirm that we have received your gift, we will complete the appropriate matching gift paperwork and send it to your company for processing.

Yes, once your donation has been processed, you will receive a letter acknowledging your contribution for tax purposes. You should receive this letter within one week after we receive your donation.

There are many critical services, activities and services that are supported, in part, by individual donations including, parenting assistance for our clients who are raising children, nursing and medication management, client accounting services, and emergency housing to people who are homeless.
Yes! We place the highest priority on protecting the privacy of our donors and hold all donor information in strict confidence. PfP does not and will not trade or sell a donor’s personal information to any other entity.
