eScrip Provides an Easy Way to Support PfP

Help us reach 500 eScrip supporters

With eScrip, you can help make money for Places for People at no extra cost to you simply by using your debit or credit card at participating merchants and restaurants.

By enrolling your debit and credit cards, you will earn money at any other merchant or restaurant participating in the program just by using your debit or credit card. There are more than 140 restaurants enrolled in the eScrip Dining Rewards program within 30 miles of PfP’s Recovery Campus.  By paying with a registered debit or credit card, 2.5% of your total bill will be donated back to PfP. You don’t even need to tell your waiter or waitress that you are enrolled.

With your debit and credit cards registered, you can earn money for PfP all across the nation at participating merchants and restaurants. You can even shop at the eScrip online mall and PfP will benefit! Visit www.escrip.com to see a full list of participating merchants and restaurants.

You can also sign up for a Schnucks eScrip Community Card. Present that card when checking out at Schnucks to earn money for Places for People. The Schnucks eScrip Community Card works at Schnucks on cash, check, credit or debit purchases. Cards are available at Schnucks or from the PfP Development Department.

It’s easy to start earning money for PfP – go online to eScrip.com, click the sign up button and enter Places for People as the group you would like to support – either by name or Group ID (500023463). Enter information about yourself (name, email, address, phone number) and supply the number on the front of your debit and credit cards. According to eScrip’s website, “Electronic Scrip Inc’s systems have met the strict requirements of the participating merchants in the area of security, safety and confidentiality.” ESI also promises not to license, sell, exchange or distribute any specific information about its eScrip participants to any third parties who are not directly involved in the eScrip program.

The last step is to shop, shop, shop.

If one PfP eScrip supporter spends $200/month on groceries at Schnucks, PfP could receive up to $6. Spending $100 per month at other participating merchants will earn PfP approximately $2. That adds up to $8 a month or $96 per year. That might not seem like a large amount, but it does add up. If all 240 PfP employees registered at eScrip.com and spent those amounts, PfP would receive $1,920 per month, which is a total of $23,040 for the year.

Currently, nearl 100 people support PfP on eScrip. We are trying to reach 500 eScrip supporters. Please help us reach this goal by signing up for a Schnucks eScrip Community Card, registering your debit and credit cards, and by telling your friends and family about the program. Remember, there is no extra cost for you.
