Governor Speaks in St. Louis About Medicaid Expansion

Gov. Jay Nixon spoke in St. Louis on March 4, 2013, about the impact of Medicaid expansion in Missouri on mental health care. Gov. Nixon's plan would provide coverage to an additional 300,000 in the next three years. Of this amount, an estimated 50,000 need mental health services.

Gov. Nixon said, "Strengthening Medicaid will give these individuals access to quality coordinated care."
