Places for People - Opening Doors to Hope and Recovery

The Club

Membership in The Club affords opportunities for vocational rehabilitation and skills building.

The Club was founded in 1975 and was the first PsychoSocial Rehabilitation Center in Missouri.

Membership in The Club is optional and PfP clients contribute their talents, resources and skills as part of their membership responsibility, including:

  • Preparing lunch
  • Operating a snack bar and thrift shop
  • Answering the phone
  • Maintaining and participating in upkeep of The Club.

The Club’s professional staff work with clients one-on-one and in small groups to develop skills and individualized goals.

The Club is open every day of the year and offers numerous programs and services to participating members. For many PfP clients, The Club is their primary – or only – social support network.
