Description: We are looking for a full time Community Support Specialist to provide recovery-focused services and engagement to people with mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
Essential functions include:• Writing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans with clients• Providing regular visits with clients in the community• Link and refer clients to community resources• Provide limited on-call coverage
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a social services field or similar, or four years’ experience in the mental health field. Master’s Degree is preferred. Knowledge of substance abuse is a plus.

A Peer Specialist is an individual with lived recovery experience who has been trained and certified to help their peers gain hope and move forward in their own recovery. Individuals seeking this position must self-identify as a current or former consumer of mental health services.
Essential functions include:• Facilitating group activities• Assisting clients in accessing resources in the community• Helping clients create a personal support plan
Requirements: Individuals must self identify as a current or former consumer of mental health services. Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent, and must complete approved State of Missouri training program for a Peer Specialist. Flexible hours with evenings and weekends. Vehicle and current, valid auto insurance.
