Interested in joining our Board of Directors?Places for People is always seeking to expand and strengthen its Board of Directors by recruiting talented, passionate leaders who are committed to ensuring comprehensive mental health services are available to people with the greatest needs.

Our Board currently meets on the fourth Monday of the month 10 times a year. The Board has many responsibilities to help guide and support PfP’s role in the mental health community in the St. Louis area.

Members of the Board of Directors of Places for People are expected to:

• Prepare for, attend, and actively participate in meetings.
• Represent and champion Places for People.
• Support the Agency financially (annual campaign and at least one fundraising event).
• Provide and accept feedback on Board Member performance and behavior.
• Serve on one or more Board Committees and task forces.
• Assist in identifying and recruiting prospective new Board Members.
• Review Board practices.
• Ensure the Agency maintains an updated and vital Strategic Plan.
• Foster necessary Agency change.
