Places for People presented the inaugural Dr. Hilary Sandall and Mildred Dunn Award for Contributions to Places for People on Saturday at the Harvest Moon celebration honoring the Places for People Leadership Society. This award, named for the founders of Places for People, will be given annually to the supporter or supporters who have given their treasure to help the people we serve.
Places for People is grateful to everyone who volunteered at the Harvest Moon celebration on October 24 to honor the Places for People Leadership Society. Among the volunteers were five students from the Saint Louis University School of Law Health Law Association (pictured above).
Places for People will present the Francie Broderick Award for Service to Places for People every year to the person who dedicates his or her time and talent to the mission of our organization. It was only fitting that the inaugural award was presented to its namesake, Francie Broderick, at the Harvest Moon celebration honoring the Places for People Leadership Society.
Ron Klutho will be recognized for his inspiring work with the 2015 Jean Abbott Hope & Healing Award from The Center for Survivors of Torture and War Trauma.
