The Black Rep presents Twisted Melodies, a one-person show written by and starring Kevin Roston, Jr. Twisted Melodies tells the story of renowned singer/songwriter Donny Hathaway, who lived with severe mental illness. The show will run at the Edison Theatre between April 20-May 1. A special matinee performance will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, to serve as a kick off for Mental Health Awareness Month in May.
The Med-Mal Mixer on Friday, March 25, at Lucas Park Grille brought together students from the Saint Louis University Health Law Association (HLA), Saint Louis University School of Medicine, SLU Public Health & Social Justice, and SLU Law Student Bar Association. Monetary and food donations were accepted, and will be donated to Places for People.
Thank you to students from the University of Georgia (Athens) IMPACT Service Spring Break who helped Places for People with several volunteer projects last week.
