Candelight vigil at The Longest Night

The Longest Night

December 21, 2020
@ The Centenary United Methodist ChurchDirections

Since 2004, the St. Louis community has come together on The Longest Night of the year – December 21 – to remember those who died homeless.

“The Longest Night” begins with an ecumenical service at 4 p.m. at The Centenary United Methodist Church.

During the service, the names of those who have died homeless in the past year will be read, and candles will be lit in their honor. Often, this is the only chance to remember and celebrate friends and family who died without homes.

A brief candlelight vigil will be held outside following the service.
