Trauma in Black Youth/TAY- Suffocated Grief

Description: Dr. Tashel Bordere’s presentation will assist organizations with the understanding of suffocated Grief, specifically within Black transitional age youth (TAY) (ages 16-25) and recognizing symptoms of distress, reducing stigma, and increasing skills in responding to distress. The presentation is a hybrid (in-person/online) event with limited spots for in-person at 1001 Lynch Street and Zoom signup open to the public. Behavioral health professionals who attend may apply for up to 3 CEUs.
