Places for People provides Individual, Group, and Family outpatient therapies built on our strength in providing evidenced-based practices to address a diverse area of mental health needs.
Our outpatient treatment services are trauma informed, culturally intelligent and linguistically accessible. Furthermore, these services promote education about wellness, recovery and building resilience.
Places for People provides evidence-based therapies for depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and other related mental health issues.
Our therapists are licensed in their fields of study and have many years of experience in serving individuals with complex mental health and emotional issues. Services are directed by an individualized treatment plan created collaboratively between the therapist and the person served. Our counselors and psychiatrists offer a caring and trauma-informed approach to therapy.
Our Outpatient Therapy program accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Optum UHC, Home State Health, Missouri Care (A Well Care Company), and AM Better. For those without insurance, we offer a sliding scale. Thanks to a grant program, we are able to serve people without insurance or who are under-insured.
