“Humans of PfP”
Every person carries a story that defines them. At Places for People, we are privileged to serve those who carry amazing stories and their voices need to be heard. This project is inspired by “Humans of New York,” which photographs the inhabitants of NYC to represent that we are all human. The goal of our portrait project, “Humans of PfP,” is to end the stigma of mental illness, and to show that hope and recovery is possible for all people. In the next month, we will be sharing stories of the people we serve and our dedicated staff. We ask you to read these stories with an open mind and heart, and to share any post that resonates with you.
