The The St. Louis Black Repertory Company hosted the first of two preview performances of Twisted Melodies on Wednesday, April 20. The one-man show, written and performed by Kelvin Roston, Jr., tells the story of Donny Hathaway, a renowned musician who lived with mental illness. Places for People Executive Director Joe Yancey joined Roston on stage for a post-show discussion. Yancey thanked The Black Rep and Roston for bringing the story to St. Louis.
