Meagan Doty
Meagan Doty has over 15 years of experience providing services in public health and behavioral health focused organizations in St. Louis, Chicago, and abroad. She is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Services at Places for People (PFP), a St. Louis behavioral health nonprofit.
In this role, Doty has the overall responsibility for the delivery, accountability, development, and effectiveness of all clinical services at Places for People. This will include short-term and long-term planning to ensure we are doing everything possible to continue to provide quality behavioral healthcare services to individuals and families in the St. Louis region.
In her 11 year tenure at PFP Doty has held a variety of positions, starting in family therapy and case management, then working her way to clinical leadership. Her passion, highlighted through all her healthcare experiences, is working to increase access to quality health and behavioral health services for individuals otherwise unable to access care. Part of why Doty loves her current role in leadership is the opportunity to support healthcare clinicians in providing the highest quality care possible and hopefully find their own passions along the way.
Doty received her Bachelor of Arts (Sociology and Human Rights) from the University of Dayton and her Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University. She believes stridently in engaging in a healthy work-life balance so spends a great deal of time with her 2 dogs, reading, hiking, camping, and rock collecting.
I am humbled to be able to lead Places for People staff in supporting our persons served through this next transition. I look forward to continuing our work placing us at the forefront of access to quality behavioral healthcare services in the St. Louis region.
